Child and Family Photographer

I just realized it’s been THREE months since I’ve posted and that seems crazy but there has been a LOT going on and I’ve been lucky to be really busy with amazing families and scrumptious newborns. But my real excuse is that I’ve just been exhausted growing a human.  Yep, we are insane and are having a third child. As if my wild two aren’t enough. It was a struggle to decide whether to even have a third – we are pretty stretched as it is, but I just couldn’t get over that need for a squishy newborn and baby rolls so here we are. And this time it’s a boy, which in my family is totally unheard of. Everyone was frantic when we found out. What are we supposed to do with a boy?!?  We had a surprise popper party for my girls and when blue popped out my oldest was exasperated.  “Wait, where is the PINK?”  Exactly!  Where was the pink? By now the news has settled and we are excited (and totally not ready), but I also struggle with the inevitable fact that both my girls are now going to get even less of my attention. There’s only so much of me to go around and it makes me nervous. I’ve made it a priority to try and get in more images with them over the course of the pregnancy and document how special it’s been for them to watch “Baby Brudder” grow (and grow and grow and grow). They are so pumped.  My oldest can’t wait to rock him and put him down for a nap (but no diaper duty she’s informed me LOL).  My youngest can’t wait to be a Big Sis.  So here we are about to expand our family.  I’ll be taking a short break for a couple months after he’s born, but rest assured I’ll be back with lots of baby rolls for your viewing pleasure 🙂
